Cosa Bella is inspired by my trip to Italy a few years ago. It has taken some time for the experience to percolate in my artists psyche; the beautiful images have stayed with me and beg to be remembered. The Italian countryside is all about nature's bounty. Colorful food & drink, beautiful scenery; aesthetic indulgence and reverence combined in the Italian way.
I have begun to create hand painted linens for table and picnic basket, that bear images of divine eatibles: olives, grapes, shrimp, asparagus, artichoke, lemons, pomegranate, eggplant, melons and more....
